Spring break is literally days away, and students are finding it difficult to focus on anything else- including myself. If you check the social medias or just listen to conversations in the commons, more than likely you’ll hear someone talking about their plans for their week off. Who can blame them? I’m sure we could all use a week to ourselves.
While tons of students are going on spring break, let’s be serious…it’s the seniors we’re most excited for! Most have plans, whether it’s travelling somewhere warm and sunny like Florida or California, or visiting family nearby.
Senior, Kaley Brook, is extremely excited for her trip to Florida.
“My friends and I are going to Panama City for a week and I can’t wait to spend my vacation with all of them! It’s going to be so much fun and we’re going to make so many memories,” Brook said.
Plenty of other seniors, like Elena Ferman, also plan to head down to the beaches of Florida for spring break.
“I’m excited for Panama because I can’t wait to get away from Michigan and spend the week with just our class. I Hope it’ll bring us closer!” Ferman said.
Other students, like Jessica Hanna ’15, plan to stay in town and just take it easy during their break.
“I’ll most likely be working, reading, and staying up until 4 a.m. watching Gossip Girl on Netflix,” Hanna said.
Regardless of your plans, spring break should be a fun time for everyone; so be smart, make good decisions, and enjoy your week off of school!
