On Tuesday, some of you may have been surprised to see students walking around school in fancy gowns, crowns, and in some of the guys’ cases, tights. Wondering why? This was all done to promote the school’s musical, Once Upon a Mattress. After months of rehearsals and anticipation, the Warren Woods Tower Drama Club is finally prepared to premiere the result of all of their hard work and dedication.
Those of you who may have attended understudy night may already know of the talent this musical consists of. The plot follows the basic story line of the classic tale, The Princess and the Pea. Once Upon a Mattress features the amazing talent of Tower students including, but not limited to, Emily Pauling, Jacob Carroll, Morgan Zalewski, Grant Hildebrandt, Cody Dyer, Thomas Ly, Megan Satawa, and Hayley Pulizzi.
All are encouraged to attend the musical, which runs all of this weekend. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $9 for adults, $6 for children, and $5 for groups of 10 or more. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7pm, and the Sunday shows begins at 2pm. Hope to see you there!
