What starts at 7:30? SCHOOL DOES! That really shouldn’t be a hard concept to get for anyone who’s been to school before. But some things did change between middle school and high school. Here at WWT we have a strict policy. When you are late to school, no matter the time, you have to have a note or else you will receive a one-hour detention. You must have a NOTE, from your parents, if you’re going to come in late and expect to not get a detention. Now if your parent calls you in and you don’t have a note, you will still be issued a detention. You can have the detention removed the next morning after they check the phone registry and you are excused, or if you bring in a note excusing you by then. On top of not being a favorite in the counseling office, you are also going to be even more late to your class. On a normal day there are at least 15 or more people waiting for their detention to be written so they can go to class. It isn’t that hard to get a parent to write a note that says they know you were late and to please excuse you. This will help you get to class on time faster and make your life a lot easier; not to mention the poor people who have to write out detentions. So take five minutes to get a note in the morning!
