Warren Woods Tower students are being offered the opportunity to participate in an international learning tour to Italy in June, 2018. Students will be visiting such amazing places such as Venice, Florence, Rome, and Sorrento.
Our students will become more culturally aware, explore new ideas, and grow their potential. Partaking in this opportunity will allow students to grow their social skills, connect to their studies outside of the classroom, and set themselves apart when applying to college and their future careers. Students will discover the true meaning of “Beautiful Italy” as they experience its art, history, and culture. In Venice, students say goodbye to transportation by car because here they will be using gondolas and the canals are the roads. In Florence, the best collection of Renaissance art awaits them. Lastly, in Rome, they will visit the works of Michelangelo at the Sistine Chapel and retrace the footsteps of ancient Romans at the Colosseum.
If you have any interest in going, there will be a mandatory informational meeting on Thursday, April 27th in Room 214 at 6:30pm. This will be your opportunity to learn about the itinerary and experiences including on this tour. Only a limited number of students and those spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Parents also need to attend this meeting if you are interested in going.
Confirm your attendance to this meeting no later than Monday, April 24th. You can RSVP via email, [email protected], or return the slip.
