Every year, Warren Woods Tower takes in a few exchange students from interesting places across the world. This year, among the students chosen was a young man by the name of Emil Bejer Pedderson, hailing from Denmark.
“I signed up [for the exchange program] and was really excited as I like to travel” he said. “I had been to Nigeria before this.” Emil has joined us for the for this year, and will be staying with us until the end of it.
Emil has said that he has been having a great experience at Tower. “Everything is different here than in Denmark.” He said “It’s great to experience the differences.”
Seeing as Emil mentioned that things are far different here than in Denmark, I took the liberty of asking him about a few of these differences. “Power schools isn’t used.” He mentioned, along with “In Denmark, we only go to one class all day. “ Perhaps the greatest different is the grading system: instead of a letter grading system, numbers are used, the highest being a 12.
Emil is a welcome addition to the student body, and we at Titan Nation certainly wish him the best for the remainder of the school year.
