Another star Titan athlete has climbed his way to the next level. Andrew Capone signed his letter of intent to baseball at the University of Michigan Dearborn.
Capone will make an immediate impact. He will help build the program as this is the first year the school will field a team. They don’t have a field to play on but being a part of building the team will offer exciting opportunities. “We will play anywhere as long as we have a field, the U of M Dearborn Coach said. The program doesn’t currently offer scholarship money for baseball, which left Andrew to earn scholarship money solely from his academic achievements. “I’m very excited to help build the team up,” Capone stated.
At the signing, Andrew was supported by his mom, Dad , principal Mike Mackenzie, and WWT’s Athletic Director. Many of his fellow teammates and classmates also stopped by to congratulate Andrew on this achievement.
